KATHMANDU
Monday 17th – Saturday 22nd May
When you see the golden Buddha welcoming you at Kathmandu airport, you know you’ve arrived in a world where the sacred meets the everyday. This land, rich with time-honoured treasures of mind, body and soul, invites you to immerse yourself in its ancient wisdom and abundant peace—treasures that can only be fully appreciated when experienced firsthand.
As we begin our journey in Kathmandu, you’ll feel the energy shift as you step into a space of sacred exploration and profound connection. The days ahead are not just about discovering a new city, but about unlocking a deeper understanding of your sound and healing practice. We’ll work with Master Shree, whose presence and teachings will awaken new layers of wisdom in your heart and mind. Together, we’ll venture into the mountains to witness the creation of full moon bowls, handcrafted under the light of the full moon—a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will harmonise your practice with the celestial alignment.
As we explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, you’ll discover how peace can be found amidst the city’s vibrant chaos. Each step you take is a meditation, allowing you to absorb the tranquility within the hustle, and align yourself with the heartbeat of this sacred land. From the intricate architecture of ancient temples to the warmth of the local culture, every moment offers you an opportunity to connect more deeply to your practice, your bowls and your heart.
This is more than just a journey, it’s a peaceful adventure that will transform you from the inside out. By the time we leave Kathmandu, you will feel aligned, transformed and connected to a deeper part of yourself. The magic of this experience, shared in the company of fellow practitioners, can only be found here—on this sacred pilgrimage with me.
POKHARA
Saturday 22nd – Wednesday 26th May
From City to Sanctuary: The Journey Continues.
After the vibrant energy of Kathmandu, we will leave the city behind and journey into the tranquil embrace of the jungle. Nestled in the heart of nature, with majestic mountains as our backdrop, lies the Begnas Lake Resort and Spa—a serene haven that will hold and nurture us as we integrate the wisdom, sights and sounds from the first part of our pilgrimage.
Here, the stillness of Begnas Lake mirrors the inner peace we seek. Surrounded by lush greenery and the calming rhythms of nature, you’ll have the space to pause, breathe and embody the deep transformations you’ve begun. The connection between your sound and healing practice will deepen, as you align with the natural cycles of life, allowing the wisdom of the land to support your personal evolution. This peaceful retreat is a vital rest, providing the space to harmonise your spirit before returning to the world.
Each day offers the opportunity to restore and reconnect with yourself, whether through yoga, meditation, sound healing, or simply resting and recharging by the pool in the warmth of the sun. Explore the lake with boat rides, trek through the surrounding landscapes, or unwind in a hammock, allowing nature’s abundant tranquility to nourish your soul. With the support of this natural sanctuary, you will find the clarity and grounding to solidify the transformations you’ve experienced—preparing you to carry this peace into your daily life.
To deepen your retreat experience, we will also learn the art of Ayurvedic cooking, sharing a communal meal that nourishes both body and spirit. This is not just a retreat, but a time for inner alignment, to evolve in harmony with the wisdom of the jungle, the mountains and the ancient cycles of nature.
As our journey concludes, we will return to Kathmandu for one more night together, where we will reflect on the transformation of our hearts and practices before we part ways. You will leave this pilgrimage renewed, grounded, and ready to carry the magic and wisdom of Nepal back into your life—forever changed by the sacred connection you have cultivated with yourself and the world around you.

ACCOMMODATION
Embracing Simplicity, Maximizing Connection
During our 10-night journey through Nepal, we will experience a variety of accommodations that reflect the essence of the land and its teachings.
Simplicity is part of the experience, encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace a more minimalist way of living. With fewer distractions, you’ll learn to live creatively and make the most of your surroundings. The true richness of this journey lies in connecting with the sacred spaces, the local culture, and the inner work we are doing—not in the comforts of the material world.
By embracing this shift, you’ll find that living minimally allows you to focus more fully on your practice, your environment, and the transformative experiences that await. Every moment will invite you to tune into the deeper lessons of presence, adaptability, and appreciation for the beauty and simplicity of life as it unfolds around you.
This approach to accommodation will enhance your experience, helping you align with the heart of Nepal’s teachings while allowing for deep personal transformation.
KATHMANDU
While in Kathmandu, a couple of our hotels (we will be staying in 2 different hotels in the first 5 days of the trip and 1 other different hotel on our last night all together in Kathmandu on the last night) will be simple and basic—far from the luxuries many of us are accustomed to in the Western world—but they will provide everything we need to thrive during this pilgrimage. On the last night we will stay somewhere very special before we complete the trip.
Each hotel will provide bed and breakfast, giving you a nourishing start to the day before we head out for our adventures. Conveniently located in close proximity to the city’s sacred Stupas (temples), you’ll be just a short distance away from the key spiritual sites we’ll visit, including our time spent working with Master Shree and witnessing the creation of the full moon bowls. This perfect location allows us to easily move between the sacred spaces and our place of rest, deepening your connection to the land and the practices we engage in.
You’ll have the choice to either share a room or opt for your own private space, with every room offering a private bathroom for your comfort. While the accommodations may be basic, they are thoughtfully equipped to meet all your essential needs, giving you the space to focus on the rich experiences and personal transformation that await.

You can choose to travel with either a backpack or a wheeled suitcase, though a backpack may be slightly easier to navigate. Expect warm weather, so sunscreen and bug repellent are essential, along with clothing that suits both city and jungle life in a warm climate.

TESTIMONIALS
“Traveling to Nepal with Charlie was nothing short of transformative. Under her guidance, I was able to deepen my sound healing practice in ways I never imagined possible. Her deep connection to the land, the people and the sacred lineage of sound was evident in every detail of our journey.
Learning from Master Shree, Charlie’s teacher and a revered sound healer carrying generations of wisdom, was an experience that touched my soul. His teachings went far beyond technique; they opened my heart to a more profound relationship with my bowls and the spirit they carry.
One of the most powerful moments of the trip was witnessing the creation of singing bowls under the full moon on Buddha’s birthday. A ceremony steeped in tradition and reverence. Meeting the master craftsman, whose family has upheld this sacred practice for generations, was a true honour.
From bustling cities to tranquil jungles and majestic mountains, Nepal’s beauty is unmatched. However, what made the trip truly unforgettable were the people, those who call this sacred land home and the beautiful souls I traveled alongside. Their kindness, wisdom and laughter (I’ve never laughed so much) reshaped me. I returned home not just with new knowledge but as a fuller, more grounded version of myself.
Charlie holds space with such grace, humility and reverence. If you feel called to explore sound healing or sacred travel, I couldn’t recommend her more highly. This wasn’t just a trip, it was a spiritual homecoming.”
