Benefits of Sound Healing with Tibetan Singing Bowls

When I first found sound healing, I could see and feel the benefits instantly. I spent time understanding what was happening and how they could be making me feel the way they did. I ended up following my teacher to every session she hosted, and was receiving three to five sessions per week.

At the time, I was working 12-16 hours a day in a corporate job, and the lower back injury I sustained in my early twenties was at a point where I struggled to get out of bed or stand up from the floor. I had also been suffering from Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) for almost 15 years.

In a matter of weeks, my mental clarity and ability to deal with the long, intense work days improved dramatically. My lower back injury began to clear up and I began to enjoy movement again after about 10 years of not being able to move my body confidently for the fear of injuring it again. I hardly suffer from back pain at all now. Best of all for me, and this might be a bit too much information, but after each bowl session I received, I would wake up the next day and be straight on the loo. It was like a very easy, stress-free detox and flush of my system. I haven’t suffered from IBS since.

This was my experience of sound healing and the benefits I derived from the therapy. The benefits you will experience yourself and witness in other people will be unique to you or them, and every outcome you see and feel will be different, because we are all different.
